You have been training months to run a marathon. You spend your mornings, weekends, and nearly every minute of your free time to train to accomplish your goal. It's the day of the race, and you run. You run for miles and miles until you have one more to go. Your chest is throbbing, sweat pouring from your body, knees shaking, sides cramping, and out of breath. Your so close to finishing, but to you it seems so far. You have wanted this for so long, trained so hard, and if you give in and stop it will all be over.
1) You are in so much pain you decide you can't go on anymore. You stop as the others pass you and cross through the finish line. You see them run through the checkered black and white ribbon as you put your hands on your knees bending over to catch your breath. All of your training has been for nothing. Though you ran far, you didn't complete your goal of finish running a marathon without stopping. What do you get out of this now? Now you get to start over once more, train harder, and withstand more pain.
2) You feel the pain but know how close you are to finishing. You can't see the finish line, but you have faith that it's close. You run harder and faster, feeling every withering bit of pain in your body but finally see the black and white checkered ribbon. As you get closer you get more eager, more proud and happy that you withstood the pain because it was about to be over. You finally run through the ribbon as people from the sides cheer you on. Photos are taken, you win awards, and you accomplished your goal. You've reached the other side and don't have to look back anymore. No more pain, no more training, no more regrets.
Which scenario do you continue to chose in life? When you are struggling with your weight, your family, your friends, your relationships, what do you chose? Do you give up on moving on and bettering yourself because it's too hard, or do you withstand the pain and have faith that somewhere down the road something better is coming along? With God the struggles we go through should be rejoiced because it is making us stronger and giving us a great opportunity to turn to God in a time of need. Nothing we do without God will give us true happiness. All the money in the world, the women, the men, the cars, then clothes... nothing will compare to the happiness in being one with Christ.
Who will you put your faith in?
2TI 2:12 if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he
will also disown us;

Sick of it; A Struggle of Mine.
Something I struggle with in life is the way I'm viewed by many people. They look at me, and often tell me how perfect my life looks. They assume because I have a smile on my face, a nice car to drive, and every material thing I really need that my life is complete and worth being envied. Getting straight to the point, I'm not who I look like. I'm so bitter and furious with so many things in life; my neurotic and narcissistic family, my inconsiderate and despicable ex-boyfriend, and my careless and unconcerned "friends".
It's so hard keeping my life a big secret, not opening up to anyone, or letting others know that I need help. I'm scared, almost ashemed if I approach someone for help or advice. Inside I feel like a mess; my mind is scattered, my body is weak.
My family continuously yells, complains, insults, and hurts me. I've been putting up with their words and actions since I was four. They've never treated me like a child, infact I feel they ripped my childhood away from me. To them I'm worthless, someone who will fail in life, a mistake. They tell me they don't love me and can't wait until I move out. My mother treats my younger brother like he is the most angelic individual to walk this earth. He curses her out, hits her, and fights until he gets excatly what he wants. Of course she caters to his every need, but doesn't even have the common deciency to say "Happy Birthday" to me on my birthday. I have never understood why they dislike me so much; but I know why they yell at me. If I leave a cup laying in another room, don't hang up all my clothes, or clean up the kitchen after I cook dinner for everyone. Are these really good reasons to hate somebody over, especially your child? It completely sickens me how egotistical and miserly they are. They are so selfish in so many ways and expect that money will make me happy. Little do they know that love conquors everything. God conquors everything. God is what is holding me all together. I am so alone in this world, as it seems, and it's so hard. It takes alot out of me to get out of bed somedays, to talk to others, or do simple tasks. I desperately want to be a good influence on people and give them hope, but it's so hard for me to accomplish this right now. I know God will lead me out of this, but it's so confusing why I was put in the family I was put in. I can honestly say I don't care if my parents came to my wedding, if they moved across the world, or if they even came around to being nice to me. I'm so numb to the fact that they are infact related to me that I try to ignore everything when I am at home. I go mute and stay back in my room day dreaming of something better. I could go on, but I feel better for getting this issue off my back. I suppose the point or message of this blog was to show that no matter how happy or stable a person may seem don't underestimate what could be underneath. Every person has feelings, problems, and issues.. some they don't reveal in everyday life. Do as to others as you would do to yourself. Be a friend.

Handling a Problem
So I haven't really opened up on my blog about myself, so that's what I'm going to do today. Actually I'll say what's going on in my mind in the first paragraph, followed by what I think God would want me to do and tell me.
I have been dating a guy for almost three and a half years, and recently broke up with him. I tried to make things work between us, and I feel that I was good to him. I always made him and bought him gifts, cooked him his favorite meals, attempted to looked pretty for him, helped him with his faith, his schoolwork, even cleaning his room. I never cheated on him, lied to him about something big, or even spent his money (going out to eat, movies, etc). I'm not a dull person, it may seem that way in school, but I do talk and have a sense of humor. I like to dance, sing, travel, and just have a good time. While we were dating he never complimented me. He always expected me to wait on him hand and foot, be okay with him never calling or coming over, and well... you get it. He just neglected me in so many ways and tried to back it up with "oh but i do care about you. I'm not ignoring you, your just blowing things out of proportion." Now I know girls do go a little crazy sometimes and do nag, but it wasn't just me seeing this in his behavior. When my grandpa(who is like my dad) was in the hospital and needed double bypass surgery and a pace maker put in his heart he wasn't willing to go to the hospital with me that morning like he said he would. Shouldn't someone who cares about you want to be there for you in a hard time, and especially if someone close to you may die? Whe my cat died, (which I was very close to) he didn't comfort me at all. I know it's a cat, but to me my animals are like family, and still he decided to hang out with his friends instead of trying to cheer me up after he knew how sad I was. At my sophmore homecoming he was on the phone with some bisexual girl he liked at the time, and at my junior homecoming he was staring at a girl and ended up saying "shes everything your not" when I asked if he liked her and why he was staring at her. I also bought him hours in a recording studio for his music last christmas and he never even used it! Anyways, after we broke up it's just as if he could move on with such ease that it was completely destroying my heart. He was doing the same thing and putting his friends, skateboarding, and straight up dumb stuff first in his life. It wasn't always like this, but after two years it began to be like this. Still at this point in my life it's so difficult to just forget and move on even though I know I should. It's hard to sleep, eat, or just be myself. I want to be left alone, or just sleep off my problems. The person that I went to with problems, happiness, laughter, and more isn't there for me anymore. It's almost like a death; not to the full extent, but knowing that things aren't the same and you can't see them (often). Somedays he talks to me and is really sweet, then the next day he'll ignore me and pretty much forget about me. It's an ongoing problem that is really confusing and hurtful. It's a terrible feeling, like that something literally inhabited inside your heart and is ripping it apart piece by piece. I feel pain and anxiety all in my body, in my mind, in myself. It's so hard to be content with life, and especially feel so alone. I don't have a relationship with my family, don't have honest and true friends, and now that he's gone it's harder than it's ever been before. He just makes me feel so worthless and ugly... like no one will appreciate me, as if no one out in the world is really like that.
From God's perspective I think He would want me to put all of my worries and troubles with him, as he tells us to do. I think He would want me to get out of this relationship, for the sake of us both. He is clearly not appreciative of me, and I have nothing but sadness and depression out of the relationship. Even though it's a stressful and paintful time right now for me, I know God is there with me at all times. I was reading a verse in the bible the other day (i dont remember it though), but it was saying how even in the darkest times we should be joyful because the Lord is testing us. He is making up stronger, so where one day we can be wise and strong in faith to where those things wont be as hard on us. This gave me an insightful look on my problems. Also the fact that this has happened so many times to people all over, and that I'm not alone in this fight. God has provided me some Godly friends who will be willing to help me out if I just ask for it. Instead of crying and sitting by in my room alone I need to move on and just have faith in God that there will be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Our Sweet Song
This blog is somewhat different than my previous ones. Instead of writing a lesson from scripture I would like to tell you a little about something I have been working on. I have always wanted to write a book, or atleast a semi-short story in my life. About two weeks ago I started writing a book called, "Our Sweet Song". The story is based upon a girl named Lola and a guy named Gabe who meet in an unusual manner. They fall in love, get married, and live as christian missionaries across the world.
There are few christian love stories that people read, and I wanted to convey the meaning of a Godly relationship and lfiestyle along with a good love story. I haven't gone in to edit and change up words yet, but I would love it if you went to read the story, or atleast part of it.

No Regrets, No Forgiveness
Many times in life we stumble, but when we do, how do we get back up? There are a few ways you can. 1)Ask God for forgiveness and start clean. 2) Continue stumbling and forget about what God wants you to do. 3) Start a life where you believe that such things are alright with God.
So many times people create this new imagine for God, like he has changed or altered his commandments based upon new times. This imagage of God is WRONG! God is the same God as he has always been and we should obey his commandments like he wanted everyone in all of time to do. The world has made divorce, adultery, pre-maritial sex, abortion, and homo-sexuality a way of life nowdays. Examples like those are not a part of God's plan, and when we believe such things or act on them with no regrets then we are not forgiven.
When we commit sin God will forgive us, if we ask for forgiveness that is. When we commit sin and keep doing so with a mindset that God will forgive us so we can just keep on sinning, this is not right. Below is a great verse to use as an example of how it is wrong to believe that sinning with knowledge of wrongdoing is not worth forgiving to God.
Hebrews 10:26 For if we deliberately keep on sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins is left for us,”
In the verse below it describes how when you are a true Christian, you hold your confidence in God and do not forget him. By the word confidence, this describes trusting in him, following his commmandments, and not letting the worldly ways conform to your mind. God will always hold power over the world, and though he has been left out in many ways, it is up to us to show the world how true Christians act and what they believe in.
Hebrews 3:14 For we have become partners with Christ, if in fact we hold our initial confidence firm until the end.”
If we support groups or acitivites that would not honor God, how is that helping to spread the word of Christ to others? When we deliberately sin or believe that if something makes someone happier it is right, how are we obeying what God commands? The answers are in the bible and can not be erased or changed. Don't let the world try and change your mind on how God truly is. Don't make God and Christians out to be something we are not.
God is a loving God who wants to have a relationship with all of his children, and wants the best for them. He deserves to be worshipped and desires such. Christians are supposed to try to act like Christ was; a calm, loving, forgiving person who spreads the world of God. I encourage everyone to remember this and for the next time you stumble to get up, ask for forgiveness, and start over clean with God and yourself
Prayer: God, please help me to live a life that glorifies you. When I stumble lift me up, and help me to ask for forgiveness and to turn to you. Let me not conform to the ways of the world, but conform to the ways you want for my life.

The Anti-Christ
The antichrist means, "who opposes, or takes the place of the messiah."
We are in a time now that people often wonder when, how, what, and why. How much do you truly know about this Anti-Christ in a biblically truthful form? The anti-christ will deceive many, and will come out as righteous and peaceful. For seven years Satan will bring terror, brutalize, brainwash, and deceive those who are still living here on earch after the rapture.
"The Beast first appears as a political leader, who will make a covenant with Israel and assume world leadership. Later he takes on the role of a religious leader who is worshipped. Supported by his sidekick - "the False Prophet" - the Beast will deceive the world. He, his prophet, and Satan will form an unholy trinity to rule all of creation." -taken from a source.
Scripture in the Bible says that the Antichrist will be a political, religious, individual that (will, after time) oppose God and God's Son and Church. He will also rise on the Western side descending from the middle east. You would have to be blind and deaf not to see what is going on in our world today! Something that has never happened before, nations are talking of trying to make peace. When countries lower their shields and try to unite, they will look at the man as their savior, and their bright star. He will try to unite everybody and make the world as one. The prodestants, catholics, muslims, and etc shall pray together and so on. The problem with this is, the muslim, buddhist, hindu, and etc religions are not the way of the truth and the light! Only Jesus Christs' word is the truth! Do not be deceived in believing this.
The anti-christ will go directly towards those who teach and influence; teachers, musicians, actors, pastors, scientists, doctors, lawyers, and etc. The ideal world of the anti-christ approach is "humanism." This involves happiness, glory, wealth, and good health. He will not claim that he is the anti-christ, nor will he deny God.
We, as Christians, are supposed to oppose the anti-christ not in a physical manner, but spiritual, just as Christ did. Though he will raise politically and with power, it is up to Christians to stay strong and come together as a family of Christ. In time a large portion of people, churches, political leaders will come to love this man, and those who do not will not only be mocked but killed.
Don't be fearful though, because even though it will be the darkest time the world has ever seen, God will save you. You will have eternal life in heaven with no tears, worries, fears, or sadness. He will overthrow evil for good and those who go along and believe with the anti-christ will only perish as he will when Christ returns.
LUK 21:8 He replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will
come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is near.' Do not
follow them.
2TH 2:3 "Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not
come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the
man doomed to destruction."

Next time you...
Next time you go to the store and buy that new outfit, those new shoes, that expensive meal or eat when your just bored. The next time you put yourself over someone else, or don't help out a person in need. The next time you complain how bad you have it or how bad our economy is...I want you to think about this.
There are 6.6 billion people in our world today.
Every day, almost 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes--one child every five seconds
According to UNICEF, 26,500-30,000 children die each day due to poverty. And they “die quietly in some of the poorest villages on earth, far removed from the scrutiny and the conscience of the world. Being meek and weak in life makes these dying multitudes even more invisible in death
Nearly a billion people entered the 21st century unable to read a book or sign their names
More than 660 million people without sanitation live on less than $2 a day, and more than 385 million on less than $1 a day.
10.6 million died in 2003 before they reached the age of 5 (same as children population in France, Germany, Greece and Italy)
2.2 billion children are in this world, and 1 billion are in poverty.
The four most common childhood illnesses are diarrhea, acute respiratory illness, malaria and measles. Each of these illnesses is both preventable and treatable. Yet, again, poverty interferes in parents’ ability to access immunizations and medicines. Chronic undernourishment on top of insufficient treatment greatly increases a child’s risk of death.
In the developing world, 26 percent of children under 5 are moderately to severely underweight. 10 percent are severely underweight. 11 percent of children under 5 are moderately to severely wasted, or seriously below weight for one’s height, and an overwhelming 32 percent are moderately to severely stunted, or seriously below normal height for one’s age
Hunger manifests itself in many ways other than starvation and famine. Most poor people who battle hunger deal with chronic undernourishment and vitamin or mineral deficiencies, which result in stunted growth, weakness and heightened susceptibility to illness.
These are just a few facts of what is going on all around us. We are blind and deaf to these issues because of where we live. There are people out there who live off unsanitary water and scraps of bread. Those who never bathe, who don't have homes to go to, those whose parents are dead, and those who support their younger siblings on their own. These people are just like us; flesh, mind, body, soul. Why are we neglecting these issues that are so vital? Many of these people also do not know God. They are in desperate need of so much, and it is up to us, ones who have everything in the world, to help them out whether it's praying, donating, or traveling to help.
It just sickens me to hear about people talk on how bad they have it, how people blow their money on fine clothes, cars, shoes, and food. Never does our brothers and sisters problems across the world enter into our mind in the day. Were so consumed with secular things, and it's just time to change. Stand up for this issue people! For goodness sakes! If you were in a situation like that you would want the same.
Be a true christian and show others God's love through helping others and trying to save soul who do not know him. Prayers can be heard all around the world, but it takes dedication and will power. Please just take this into consideration and take two minute out of your day to pray that people all around the world will be blessed by hearing your word, that peace may be brought between countries and people, and that they can be cured of their sicknesses
Do to others as you would have them do to you."
Luke 6:31
The Scientific Facts
There are many people out there who are very skeptical on christianity; the birth of Jesus, the death, the ressurection, and such. Below I'll list some questions you may be wondering about.
1/ How was a man born of a virgin?
-God sent an angel down to earth to tell the virgin Mary that she would be a son. He would be the son of God, and a man who would never sin. The reason God did this was to make him holy, but in a human form. Mary didn't lay with another man, and though she had Joseph as a boyfriend, he was not the father of Jesus, God was.
2. How is it that Jesus, the almighty one, just let himself get killed if he had all this power?
-Jesus knew what was going to happen to him. God sent his son to die on the cross to take away the sins of everyone who believes in him. Jesus shed his blood because of our trespasses, and if he had just killed off the roman soldiers, what would that have proved? It would have proved his stregnth, but not his love for us.
4. How could he come back from the dead three days later?
-Jesus is a holy man, and God's only son. He rose three days later to tell the world that he would come back. In this time he told people about revelation, and when he comes back he who take those who believed in him to heaven, and all evil would be demolished.
5. How can you love something you never see, touch, smell, or hear?
-Good question. It is a difficult thing to comprehend, for non-believers and believers sometimes. When you open your heart to God, there is a definite change. People still love those who have passed away, that they can no longer talk to. When you truly come to loving something and having faith these things don't matter.
6. Why do you talk to him?
-It's called prayer, and you pray for all sorts of things. Some pray to have good days, others to help the sickly in need. People even pray to God to help them want to love him, help want them to want to read the bible, and help want to want to go to church and live a life for God. A man named Chad Reeser said this in a lesson once. "If you had a wife that loved you more than anything and ignored her, didn't talk to her, and pretended like she wasn't there how would she feel? It's the same with God. He loves every one of us and just wants us to come to him." He desire a relationship with us, and by praying to him is how we can have one! He gave us free will, the power to do and think what we want.
7. What is some proof that he is real?
-The answer to that is pretty simple, there is none. Think about how you feel love, sadness, anger, suprises, and air. People try to think so detailed now that they forget about what's actually there in front of them. Look at the trees, oceans, hills, and people. It's amazing... what do you think could have possibly created all of this. The way our planets are alligned, the level of oxygen and carbon dioxide in our air. All the genetics and organs inside our bodies, and how they function. Do you believe that through evolution, rocks forming, creatures swimming and developing lungs, that all the beauty in the world was created? Do you think that humans got their intelligence from monkeys and fish? Where do you think people started to feel love from? God is love, and through love you can find God. He is the ultimate source of how a person should live their life. He wants the best for everyone, and his commandments aren't harmful, but protecting and useful to our lives. Having faith is believing in something, whether you can see it or not. It's a matter of trust and dedication.

Falling
Many times we, as christians, drift away from God and his plan. Sometimes school, work, children, guys;girls, and other things begin to become more important than God to us. This is because we are human, and sin is in our nature. Even though we are human we can't continuously use this as an excuse to sin. We know right from wrong, and it is our job to ask God to help us in our times of happiness and needs.
Sure, worldly things may seem fun at times, but these things wont last. Take for instance;
A fire comes along and you have a $100 dollar bill, an ipod, a gucci purse, a BMW, and God's love for you. What is left? What happens to it all?
A flood comes and you have a $100 dollar bil, an ipod, a gucci purse, a BMW, and God's love for you. What is left? What happens to it all?
A burgular comes in, and you have a $100 bill, an ipod, a gucci purse, your BMW keys laying out, and God's love for you. What is left? What happens to it all?
No matter what God can defeat anything. He is the one that will always and truly be there for you whether your sad, angry, or happy. He deserves to be honored and loved. He created you, your friends and family, your animals, the trees and the oceans. He can conquer anything, and will never put you in a position in which you can not handle. It is vital that we remember what God has done for us, what he wants to do for us, and to let him take control of our lives. It's important that when we stray or begin to that we strive to come back to the Lord.
I encourage you to grab a piece of paper, and at the bottom write down the things keeping you from having a relationship with God. Things that you do rather than read the bible, go to church, pray, or tell others about him. After writing those down, write GOD at the top of it. Hang it somewhere, or keep it with you so that you it may be a reminder to you to keep God as the top priority in your life.

The issue on Abortion
Why is it people go to jail when they murder a human being... whether one minute old, or one hundred years old, but when a mother aborts her child... it's okay? Why is it the unborn child, with hair, fingernails, toes, eyes, and a heart does not effect the mother, who concieved this small miracle, enough to let it live? What if that child would someday save your life, become a doctor and invent a cure for cancer, give you beautiful grand-children, or even lead somebody to Christ? Some argue the controversial issue that a fetus is not a child until born... but what verses give us examples that maybe, just maybe the child infact is a child of God as soon as it is conceived?
In the Bible, and in daily life, the words "man, woman, child, baby, and babe" are considered to being living beings, correct? Now in these following verses they speak of a "fetus" as some would call them... but pay close attention to the words the Lord uses to explain the "fetus" in the wombs....
Luke 1:41 When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
Luke 2:12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in clothes and lying in a manger.
Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.
Psalm 139:13-16
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Now that you've seen some examples... clearly in the bible it states that a human is a child of God when even in the womb. Now that I have brought up the point that abortion could be the shedding of innocent blood, look at this verse.
Proverbs 6:16-17 There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him:17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood
Now many of those who choose to get abortions, later have deep regrets, sorrows, and mental disorders after their decision. Why is this? Could it be the Holy Ghost dwelling inside of them acting as a contious... notifying them of what they did was againest God's will perhaps? If a baby is conceived, it is part of God's will in life. God created humans to be his children, the highest form of life on earth... and he loves each and every one of us equally and continuously. Think about this... when a woman aborts a child, is she drawing a conclusion that that child is not worthy to live as God planned for it to? Is it not as special, precious, or lovable in the eyes of the Lord? It is! God loves all, no matter what, so why would you abort a child of God?
To abort a child may mean you're scared, un-prepared, not parent material, or selfish. But you should not turn you're back to the Lord! Trust in him, his plan for you, his plan for you're unborn child! The Lord promises to feed, clothe, and fufill you if you have faith, love, obey, and trust in him. Read the following verse below... as it states that running away from his plan is not having faith in him, but sinning.
Romans 14:23 But the man who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.
Now for my conclusion... I hope all that read this take this in. Read the word of God... for it may not give us the direct answers to life, but will guide us to form a relationship with God so that we may obey him and go down the right path. Don't allow your mind to conform to the way modern day society thinks… just because it's legal, celebrities do it, or anbody in general, it doesn't always mean it's honoring to God. Do not be afraid, He is always there with you and will never leave you. He is a loving, forgiving, and gracious Lord. Especially in times like abortion which are so contriversial... go to the word, and ask for his guidance in prayer.

Do all religions worship the same God?
This is a common question, and a vital one to know. Often times we do not understand the true differences in religions, and make the mistake of thinking that all religions worship the same God. Below I'll describe different religions and their views and customs.
One reason I bring this topic up is to encourage Christians to go out into the world, and to not fear, but to tell others about God. Many people have been mislead about christianity, having a relationship with God, and getting into heaven. If you truly love your friends and family let them know! You want them to be saved and live a life that is pleasing to God, and that they will be happy with. There is a definite happiness when you are close with God, and it's an experience that all should feel. Trust in the Lord and don't lean unto your own understanding.
- Christianity- In Christianity you believe that God sent his only son, Jesus, to die on the cross to forgive of us our sins, that he rose three days later, and that he will come again. They believe the Bible is the Holy book, and that you can have a personal relationship with God in life. Also that not deeds, but having a relationship with God and believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross to forgive you of your sins gets you into heaven.
- Buddhism- In Buddhism you worship no gods. You try to purify your heart, and live peacefully with everything so that one day you can reach a place called Nirvana. This religion has self-disipline, prayer, and meditation involved.
- Islam- Muslims believe in one god, Allah, which means the one almighty. Their daily duties are to 1. Repeat a creed about Allah and Muhammad; 2. Recite certain prayers in Arabic five times a day; 3. Give to the needy; 4. One month each year, fast from food, drink, sex and smoking from sunrise to sunset; 5. Pilgrimage once in one's lifetime to worship at a shrine in Mecca. You get to a paradise if you have good deeds on earth, but have no relationship with him.
- Hinduism - When Hindu, you believe that your present life was based upon how you acted in your previous life. If you experience hardships it was because of the way you acted in your past life. They believe in thousands of gods and goddess', and the ultimate one as Brahman, There is a God for mainly everything in life, and that you should pray to each of them for different occurances. They also have dancing and festivals for many occassions.

"Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

A Topic of L-O-V-E
When you tell someone you love them we often forgot that such a strong word should be kept for only the man/woman we are to be with forever... but how many of us tell every boyfriend/girlfriend we get how much we love them, how we can't live without them, how were going to marry them? The majorities of us are doing it... but is it right? Honestly, how many friends of yours have given themselves up to their "love" and broken up? How many have been cheated on, used, or mistreated? Why do we keep falling into the same situations? Why is it we realize we didn't really love them after all until we've broken up? Why do we ignore the plan God has for us and what he wants us to do?
Think about it... we have our WHOLE life ahead of us, is it really the best decision to settle down, start being intimate, and spending every moment of our life with our boyfriend/girlfriend when were only in high school, still living with our parents, and cannot support ourselves? How do you think God feels about this? Are you leaving him out of the picture, replacing him, or drifting from him?
Why do we try to impress guys based on just our looks? Where is the beauty in that? I understand looking presentable but we go way beyond that! We wear shirts with our chests hanging out, and clothes that just show the guy our bodies. Of course any guy will look... but is it the guy for you or a guy that wants you? We get what we are in most situations... girls who dress loosely and non-conservative end up with guys that do not respect them and say they love them... but what kind of person are they? How are their morals? Are they an active follower of Christ? On the other hand, girls who wear conservative clothes usually attract kind gentlemen type guys who don't just look for cleavage and one night stands. Which are you? What would your guy do if you said "No more physical relationship until we get married?" Could you even do it? Would God approve of what you and your boyfriend/girlfriend do?
Now in love you do feel a wanting to have that physical relationship but what says "I love you" more than waiting and respecting each other? Does a purse, necklace, earrings, or any other gift say it more? Do you know how much trouble can be saved, how much anxiety you wouldn't have to go through if we remembered to not fall into these situations. Have you ever thought maybe God wants me to wait, not only for sex, but most every physical aspects in a relationship for certain reasons? Think about it, what are some of the consequences of pre-marital sex? Pregnancies, STD's, depression, anxiety, regret, cheating. Now look at some of the positive outlooks on waiting till you're married for sex! Honoring to God, not worrying about STD's, secured pregnancies, more fulfilling. Look at it deeply… is God telling us to wait for the better, or to make us suffer with temptation? God LOVES you, he wants the best for you, nothing he tells us is meant to be harmful in any way, it is for our own good and pleasing to him.
We don't know when God is coming back, we don't know if we'll die tomorrow, we don't know if we'll be in an accident… but we'd all like to go to heaven, right? Why do we procrastinate to love and honor God? What are we focusing on most the time… is it our boyfriends, new clothes, sports, God? You answer that in your heart and think about it… is that what God would want you to be focusing most on? You know, we keep procrastinating but when judgment day comes we can't take back what we did or did not do on earth. We can ask for forgiveness, and our God is a forgiving God, but we can't keep falling into these same situations. We must please God with out bodies; he designed them to be temples and made after his own image. We should keep them pure and innocent, even in a world where sex is so commercial and natural. God does all this for a purpose, remember that.
Romans 12:1
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is true worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Ask yourself these and be sincere to your HEART
1. Are you patient with your other?
2. Are you kind to one another?
3. Do you envy the other?
4. Do you brag about yourself in front of your other?
5. Are you rude to your other?
6. Are you selfish with the other?
7. Do you get easily angered or jealous?
8. Do you hold you're other accountable for things they've done?
9. Do you pay attention to the good or the bad?
10. Do you protect your other?
11. Do you trust your other with everything always?
12. Is there always hope in your relationship?
13. Do you preserve yourself for your other?
14. Are you doubtful?
-We often mistake love for infatuation as well, read these and carefully think through how you feel when seeing crushes, movie stars, or boyfriend.

Dependence on the other person causes
Jealousy frequently
Lasts for a short period of time
Distance strains and often puts an end to the relationship
Quarrels are serious and common
Quarrels can seriously damage the relationship
Love
Sees the other person's flaws and still loves them
Wants to serve the other person; selfless
Still spends time with others
Takes time to build the relationship
Other relationships and friendships grow stronger
Trust and understanding results in less severe and less frequent jealousy
Encompasses a long-term commitment
Survives and sometimes is strengthened because of distance
Quarrels are less serious and less often
Quarrels can strengthen the relationship
Which relationship is YOURS?

The Message of Music
In today's world many children, teenagers, and adults listen to music. There are new beats, rythms, artists; but what is the message being sent across? In top artists' like T.I., Kanye West, Lil' Wayne, Nickelback, and more the lyrics are not only offensive, but ridiculous. Sometimes we overlook the evil and misconception of the music, the ways celebrities effect our lives. Music has the ability to change our mood, our morals, and our characters. Below are some examples in hit songs and some verses sung.
"Anytime you want to pick up the telephone
You know it ain't nothin' to drop a couple stacks
on youWanted you could get it my dearFive million
dollar home, drop Bentley's, I swearYeah, I want'cho
body, I need yo bodyLong as you got me you won't need
nobodyYou want it I got it, go, get it, I buy it Tell 'em
other broke niggas be quiet," by T.I.
"You're beside me on the seatGot your hand between my
kneesAnd you control how fast we go by just how hard you
wanna squeezeIt's hard to steer when you're breathing in
my earBut I got both hands on the wheel while you got both
hands on my gearsBy now, no doubt that we were heading
south I guess nobody ever taught her not to speak with a full
mouth'Cause this was it, like flicking on a switchIt felt so good
I almost drove into the ditch," by Nickelback.
Those who try to live a life toward God try not to associate themself with such music like this. Not only does this music have a bad influence on Christians, but supporting the artists who performs this type of music only allows them to keep doing what they are doing. By standing your ground and not giving in to the secular ways of music you have the opportunity to be an example to others around you, and to honor God. Joshua 5:6 says "For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey."
Just as the people of Israel obeyed the Lord, did not forget his promises, and laws saw the light unto which their Father had promised, we can too. We see the problems in the world, the music, the clothes, the morals and evil afoot, but we tend to forget about it. It seems the motto is "If it makes you happy, it's okay." This is not true! Not everything that makes us happy is best for us. God knows and wants the best for us, and by honoring, having faith, and trusting him with our life is the true way to happiness and eternal life. You may have never thought of music being an impact on your relationship with God, but it's something that happens quite often. Think to yourself next time you listen to a song; is this honoring God, is the message clean, is the artist a good influence on me? On earth you have your music, your lyrics, your friends, your clothes, but none compares to the glory of the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 says "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." The Lord knows the righteous path for you, but you have to have self-disipline and faith that without world things, that you will be better off. I encourage all of you to go out unto the world and be honoring to the Lord, as well as an influence on those around you who do not truly know God.
