Climbing the Ladder of God

I find it amazing how God can make life all new, even if a person thinks they are too deep into sin. God can take the life you have been living and turn it into something miraculous. God can take away the pain and fill it with joy: something no other human, item, or activity can do. God does not always give you happiness, wealth, good health, or luck - but he gives you everlasting life and joy on earth. God is more than enough, and we often forget that. We forget that we do not need the big house, nice car, upscale clothes, or degrees. We are mislead by the "american dream" that prosperity, wealth, and education bring us the good life. If that were so then why do so many celebrities overdose, have addictions, become acoholics, and get divorces?

Life is not about pleasing yourself, and when you focus on prosperity - that it the main goal. Your life becomes about making money, getting a good job, planning a retirement, going on vacations, and being comfortable. What does that do for God? Nothing. It means that you are like a hamster on a wheel; always running but never going anywhere. People climb to the top of the ladder of success only to find out they have been climbing the wrong ladder their entire life.

Climb the ladder of God. It will never break. It will never let you down. It will keep you joyful. God is enough. God is more than what we need, but we need to realize it. We need to spread the true gospel. We need to follow the Word of God. We need to be an example to others.

If God sent his only son to die for us sinners, the least we can do is live for Him.
