Think Before You Act

There has been numerous times in my life where I have been hurt by someone's words, their actions, or someone I care about doing something hurtful to themself. My heart has been ripped up in many ways, just like everyone else's. Whenever we do something we shouldn't be doing, something againest God's will it ends up hurting more than just God and ourself. Have you ever considered that fact that your parents, the people who love you most, want the best for you and would be hurt by what you do behind their backs? When you become a parent and look into your child's eyes for the first time you will want to keep them safe, protected, and live a long and happy life. You don't want to see them smoking, having sex, drunk, or becoming a nobody in life. When you act before you consider the situation, the consequences, the feelings afterwards, and who all it will effect you will always end up hurting someone. I see people who constantly keep messing up, and each and every time they do they probably hurt more on the inside. Bad things happen to people, we don't always understand why, but we have two choices. We can dwell on the past and do things to try to help "solve" the problem or make it go away like drugs, alcohol, sex, or etc. The other option is to learn from the situation. Lift yourself up out of it to be the best you can be.. the person you know you are capable of becoming. Don't live a lie and believe that the other options will help you. Though it can be very difficult, come back to God and those who follow Him. You can always make it through the pain and the regret, but you can't do it alone. There is always beauty from pain if you put your faith in God. God is the only one who will never walk out on your or forsake you. Our hearts may be broken from guys/girls, parents, rape, abuse, friends, or etc. Whatever it may be, God can heal a broken heart, but he has to have all the pieces.

If anyone ever needs advice, help, someone to talk to, yall know I'm here. It's okay if I don't know you well or if what you have to say may seem terrible. I would really like to be there and help others. I promise to not judge or criticize you, and to be the best help or friend I can be.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
Deuteronomy 31:6

Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called.
1 Timothy 6:12

"Come now and let us reason together," says the Lord,
"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow."
Isaiah 1:18
